This year we are adding two younger teams to the Seattle Bombers program. NW Baseball & Softball Academy fully supports community baseball leagues and understands that there are some players looking for more baseball at a young age. The community league All Star experience is an important part of a youth baseball career. Players can play for their youth baseball league and receive additional training through our select program without conflict.

These teams will be managed so that players will be able to play for their community team and their select Seattle Bomber team. The goal of these teams is to provide additional training and skill building for young athletes and a forum for them to play additional tournaments to showcase those skills.

As with our older teams, the players for these teams will begin their workouts in November at our indoor facility. There will be one session of hitting, one session of speed and agility training, one session for pitchers and catchers and one weekend team practice per week November through the end of March. Winter workouts focus on skill building and repetition. The season will consist of outdoor practices, practice games and 6 tournaments.

For the young players, select baseball is a large time commitment. The training and additional tournaments will provide a full baseball experience and accelerate a players development.
