Pitching Specific In-Season Tune-up Camp

With 14 years of running youth camps, our coaching staff has the knowledge and experience to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of an individual player and how develop each player to meet their fullest potential in a team setting.

Pitching Camps are offered January through March and May through July.

From the little leagues to the big leagues, everyone needs more pitching.  The goal of our camps is to educate youth baseball players on injury prevention, pitching mechanics, strength development, and the art of pitching using the most qualified instructors and computer video analysis.

This one-day tune-up camp is designed to reinforce proper pitching techniques that can get over-looked or off-track during the season. Instruction is focused on pitchers individual needs. Tune-up camps are not as regimented at the winter pitching camps. Time is condensed but players will learn how to re-focus the mechanics they have learned to this point. These are a few of the aspects that will be covered at this camp:

  • Review of pitching mechanics.

  • Mental strategies.

  • Developing a change-up

"It helps if the hitter
thinks you're a little crazy.",
Nolan Ryan

These camps are meant to be small and enrollment is limited.

They are designed for the serious baseball player.  Players will work hard and will learn the benefits of discipline as it pertains to baseball.

All Camps are run by Mark Potoshnik, Director of the Academy.
