Fall Baseball Program

Begin Preparing for the 2012 Season Now

Academy's Fall Baseball Program

The purpose of the Fall Baseball Program is to keep athletes active and enjoying the sport. The focus will be on higher-level, more personalized instruction than they would receive during their summer season.

This fall, the academy will run a seven week fall baseball training program. Players will have access to two workouts per week that will focus on different aspects of the game and their specific position. Players will meet mid-week for a skills and drills program that will focus on key defensive skill building by position. Players will be broken out by position and the coaching staff on the field instruct them on the proper drills to build the skills needed for that position. Players will also meet one weekend day for practice games. A coaching staff will be on the field and will instruct players on position specific plays.

Fall baseball is truly a time to learn the next level of the game that players will need to compete in the 2012 season. The Academy's goal for this years' fall program will be to work on position specific skills and drills so that each player can take their game to the next level and have success in the coming season.

Practices will be held in the Edmonds/Lynnwood/Monroe and possibly North Seattle area. Practices will begin outdoors but may move to the indoor facility in Lynnwood depending on weather or lack of day light.

The fall age groups will be 12 and under, 14 and under and 18 and under.

A players age group will be based the level they will play for the 2012 season. For example, if a players played at the U13 level for the 2011 season they will be at the U14 level in our fall program.

The fall program begins September 7th and ends October 23rd.

12U - 11 & 12 year old players for 2012

Practice Game - Sundays 10AM-12PM

14U - 13 & 14 year old players for 2012

Skills & Drills - Thursdays 5-7PM

First practice will be held at Lynnwood HS 18218 N Road, Bothell - Directions

Practice Game - Sundays 1-3PM

Mountlake Terrace High School 21801 44th Ave West, Mountlake Terrace - Directions

18U - 15, 16 & 18 year old players for 2012

Skills & Drills - Thursdays 7-9PM

First practice will be held at Lynnwood HS 18218 N Road, Bothell - Directions

Practice Game - Sundays 3:30-5:30PM

Mountlake Terrace High School 21801 44th Ave West, Mountlake Terrace - Directions

Each player will be provided with a hat and Jersey. Players will need to provide their own helmets, bats, cleats and baseball pants.
