NW Baseball & Softball Academy is a not-for-profit educational
corporation under IRS code 501(c)(3). Established in 1996, the
Academy provides northwest youth with a positive environment for
personal development in the area of athletics. The programs
build self-esteem by teaching participants skills such as goal
setting and attainment, self-discipline, teamwork and proper
physical conditioning. The programs focus on communication,
professional conduct, self-motivation and awareness as well as a
players ability to accept responsibility for their own decisions.
NW Baseball
& Softball Academy runs 10 Seattle Bomber summer teams (U11 through U18). Our coaching staff works together as a
group, the teams are part of an organization not independent teams
under one umbrella. With 15 years of teaching youth baseball,
the Academy has taken players from the little league level to the
Collegiate and Professional Level of play (Past
Players). Our coaching staff has the knowledge and
experience to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of an
individual player and how develop each player to meet their fullest
potential in a team setting.
Situational coaching example: a pitcher is not spinning the ball
properly out of his hand. Most coaches will look at the
release when the problem is usually some where else in the delivery.
It could be in their head position, could be in their backside,
their body, their hips. As a coach, would you be able to
recognize this problem?
This
clinic is designed to give youth coaches the necessary tools and
knowledge to provide the best playing experience for their team.
Arm yourself with the necessary tools to impact a young player in a
positive way. The format will allow for all coaches to
