All Star Camps

These camps are designed to move players beyond the basic fundamentals and prepare them for a higher level of competition. Players are selected to All Stars because they have demonstrated mastery of the fundamentals. In order to succeed at this level players must combine their physical abilities with improved mental strategies.

Instruction at these  camps are designed  to supplement practices for All Stars.  Players should not attend in lieu of practices and should understand that the physical work will in no way overextend a player.

Hitting Specific Camp

The focus of this camp will be on developing a more sophisticated hitter.

All Star players will be facing pitchers that throw harder and use more off-speed pitches.

Hitters will need the following in order to have success:

· Handling pitch velocity

· Pitch recognition/selection

· Situational hitting

· Mental approach to hitting

· Hitting breaking balls

Pitching Specific Camp

The focus of this camp is to develop a pitchers ability to get the best hitters out.

At the All Star level, pitchers have to do more than just throw the ball into the strike zone.

Pitchers need to know how to control the ball, increase their velocity and understand the mental aspects of the game.

Pitchers will need to know the
following to compete at a higher level:

· Pitching strategies

· Recognizing the hitters weaknesses

· Developing off-speed pitches

· Improving their ability to locate pitches within the strike zone

· Creating mental toughness

They are designed for the serious baseball player.  Players will work hard each day and will learn the benefits of discipline as it pertains to baseball.

10AM-11:30AM         $85


Camps are limited to players age 8-13. There will be a 4 to 1 player to coach ratio.

What to Bring: glove (for pitching)/bat (for hitting), sneakers, and a water bottle.  No jeans or baggy clothes.
